The Brady Bunch S 1 E 23 To Move Or Not To Move

Over the years, many critics of The Brady Bunch have questioned why Mike Brady, a talented architect, designed a home for his newly extended family when he knew he needed enough bedrooms for six children. They come up with a plan to run away from potential buyers - by making "moos" (the foundation settles) and disguising themselves as ghosts, and in fact, they are running away from a buyer. While a potential buyer a middle-aged woman named Mrs. Hunsaker and a real estate agent are home and have tentatively made an offer that Mike wants to accept, patriarch Brady sees two pint-sized ghosts in sheets that cross the living room. Mike then realizes he has no choice but to take the house off the market, and the Bradys are comfortably at home - the iconic house - for the rest of their lives. Incidentally, Greg would have his own bedroom...but that wouldn't happen until the fifth season; according to the unofficial series bible, Marcia gets the room in the summer of 1974 when Greg moves out to attend college.
