Brick Floor Entryway
Reclaimed Thin Brick Floor Tiles Gallery
Some of our thin brick floor tiles originated a century or more ago as building bricks in structures and sidewalks across the country, before we rescued them from demolition and cut them in tiles.Diy Faux Brick Flooring
I can't believe how long it took me to share our DIY faux brick flooring on the blog. As many of you know, we gave our main floor powder room/laundry room a makeover last April and I have to admit that doing the laundry hasn't been such a chore anymore. As soon as we first went to see the house, I could immediately see a nice brick floor in this space. After all, if God has no other plans in mind, we're in this house for the long haul. This is called Rustico glazed porcelain tile. Best of all, it installs like a basic floor tile. Here is the room now-DIY faux brick flooring
As I said before, this is just a basic porcelain tile. If you've never done this before, I recommend watching a few how-to videos or trying your hand at splatter tile first. If you dream of brick floors, don't worry. I even mentioned installing this tile in our home down the street. The fall weather has finally hit Ga, so I'll be hanging out with the family for a bit and working on wrapping up our kitchen renovation.

News From Inglenook Tile
Brick tile installationThe Harvest Moon Farmhouse installation used Wright's Ferry 4×8″ brick tiles in a mix of Marietta colors, throughout their entryway, in a powder room, and throughout their kitchen. People who visit just can't believe how much it has changed our home.
We start looking through the front door at the brick tiles, their herringbone installation pattern extending into the kitchen at the far end. Halfway down the hallway, our thin brick tiles foray into the powder room, where a horse rug complements the thin brick flooring. Foyer Accent Floor – Chicago South Side Porcelain Brick Tile
Over the Christmas holidays, I convinced my husband to help me install another wood pallet accent wall in the hall similar to the one we created in our living room. After a few days of brainstorming, I came across Chicago South Side Porcelain Brick Tile by Mediterranea at Avalon Flooring (links provided for your convenience - no affiliate links). Another unique feature of this tile - you can choose to have "Chicago" (or the names of several different cities) engraved on a percentage of the total tiles you order. We decided to make a herringbone pattern with a border and used Delorean Gray grout (Prism #165 – 17 lb). We used a 7-inch wet saw, a 1/4 x 3/8 x 1/4 square-notched trowel, a grout float, and a grout sponge. For the rest of the room, I painted the walls Sherwin Williams Light French Gray and distressed the fire pit table with chalk paint and sandpaper. I purchased several decorative items such as the (affiliate) coat rack, candle holders, floor mat and light on Amazon.Brick Floor Entrance
It is the most durable building material due to its amazing features which include durability, availability, flexibility, and attractive style. Using bricks to incorporate character and allure into sleek, modern designs is a popular trend. Red brick kitchen accent wall
A warm red brick wall perfectly foils the predominantly white color scheme of this kitchen.
