Sprinter Van Floor Plans
Floor Plan & Interior Layout
We are Isabelle and Antoine 🙂 In 2017, we sold our house (and everything in it), left our engineering careers and moved into our self-built motorhome. We've been on the road ever since, and every day is an opportunity for a new adventure; we are chasing our dreams, and I hope this inspires others to do the same!‘Witch Van’ Floor Plan
Full Conversion / Home on Wheels - Sprinter 170" 4x4 - Built Spring 2021 - Named 'Witch Van'The 'Witch Van' is inspired by our popular 'Fitz Roy' interior - perfect for someone who intends to live in their van or travel long term. This van was primarily built for one person, but with a few modifications it could be a great space for a couple. Our floor plans are based on the building plans our team works on, created for each van conversion by our in-house design engineer. All in all, these building plans are a great way to get dimensions and inspiration for your own project, as well as a general plumbing and electrical layout. And, you'll have the benefit of seeing how this process works from the perspective of a team of designers and builders. As you embark on this adventure, we would like to note that these plans will not teach you how to build your own van, wire your electrical system, or plumb your water system. *This floor plan does not include consultation or customer service, and Freedom Vans does not offer consultation services at this time. *More so, this floor plan will be a source to help you navigate the great effort of van conversions by providing helpful dimensions, product selections, system maps, and builder's notes.

A luxury Mercedes Sprinter motorhome is the #1 experience in custom Class B motorhomes in North AmericaEach Sprinter is self-contained, with a self-contained waste system, so you can keep exploring for several days before having to empty your waste tanks. Our rental fleet includes the Coachmen Galleria Li3 24FL (1-2 berths), the Roadtrek CS/RS/SS/E-Trek (2-4 berths) and the Coachmen Galleria Li3 (2 berths). 12 Best Mercedes Sprinter Van Conversions On Planet Earth
Mercedes Sprinter Van ConversionsWe had the privilege of seeing a large number of vans, skoolies and tiny houses up close. Of course, we can never get enough of the lifestyle, so we've combed through the internet and our experiences to feature 12 of the best conversations about Sprinter vans. Jubel Explorer Sprinter
If you're looking for a real home away from home, then this build from Jack at This Moving House is definitely one for your Pinterest mood board. It's smartly built, full of character and makes smart use of all the space inside the main body of the van. The splashback tiles add a pop of color (no pun intended) to the calm and quiet space, and the curved roof makes the most of the van's height without creating a "boxed" feel. The Tourbus conversion
We've traveled on nifty buses when we've been touring in different bands, but this sprinter conversion is the most rock 'n' roll thing on wheels we've ever seen. It's the first giant 4×4 on our list of Mercedes van conversions, but don't think adventure comes without luxury extras. Downlighting is a nice touch for relaxing in the evening, and this shower will come in handy if you live the van life and work full time. But say you went to town with your floor insulation, or just like the feeling of being in a much larger space, then the pop-top element of this motorhome will provide some much-needed breathing space for your van life experiences. Named Saffiyah, it's definitely one of the most creative Mercedes Sprinter conversions we've ever had the pleasure of looking at in person. Stealth campers are for those who want to hide in society, but conversions like Saffiyah are for vandwellers who like to blend in with nature and spend time away from people – or who just don't care what the others think. This Outside Van conversion is a bit of a mix of the previous two versions we've looked at so far; it's fully equipped for cooking and charging on the go, but it focuses more on carrying custom gear rather than a "one-size-fits-all" approach. Aptly named "E-trek", this conversion is packed with luxury additions, not to mention all the gear you might need to live the eco-van life. This bloated, blacked-out Sprinter might not be ideal for full-time van life, but it's certainly a cool little number if you're looking for a business vehicle or a party bus (they might be the same thing depending on what industry you are in).

Campervan Layout Ideas For A Self Built Camper Conversion
Planning a layout in a Mercedes Sprinter LWB camper van conversion1st steps
First, if you haven't already, head over to social media and look at other van setups. Try before you buy - Rent a motorhome
Then try to go see a van with the layout you think you want or, ideally, rent one to try it out. You might just find that something you thought you absolutely needed isn't really essential and you might be making better use of the space or vice versa. Quirky Campers offers a wide range of quality, handcrafted motorhomes available with a host of different configurations to try out. Design and plan a motorhome layout
It is then essential that you spend a lot of time sketching out different layout options. After looking at many conversions with both width and length beds, we decided to go with a width bed to keep the feeling of space in the van. After a while, we felt the cross-bed in the sprinter (one of the narrowest vans available) was a little too tight. We have a pop-up shower which is quick and easy to use when needed - see our blog on how to keep clean in a motorhome to see how it works. Garage space: There is a massive garage space under the bed which holds all of our adventure gear (including a bike), water and the fridge. Garage cupboard: A small part of the garage has been sectioned off and accessed from inside the van, giving us ample space under the bed for things we need to access on a daily basis. Under the benches: Make sure to maximize the space under the benches by using partitions (this makes things much neater). Wall cupboards - We didn't want too many wall cupboards as they can make the van feel claustrophobic. Shelves - We have small shelves scattered around the van that hold spices (we love to cook), essential whiskey supplies and an iPad shelf next to the bed for movie nights. First, read our blog on ways to cook in a motorhome to see if you need an oven. Other people may need to store a lot less because they only have their vans for holidays and don't like to cook.
