Why Is My Car Floor Wet When It Rains
Wet Driver'S Side Floor!!
The only other source might be through the A/C box, but that's covered by the hood and shouldn't even really get wet when it rains.Wet Floor!!! Help!!!
(croxomar)Well, if only the floor is wet, you have a leak coming from the floor. I still think it's either a leak in your firewall or your fan motor (probably around your fan's fresh air intake). Just remove the lid and make sure it can flow properly around the opening and where the cool air gets in there should be like a "seal" built around the opening. Try to get some aquarium silicone and build the seal around the fresh air intake for the fan.
How To Handle Water Coming Up Through Your Garage Floor After It Rains (+ Prevention Tips)
Here are some quick fixes you can implement to resolve this issue:Apply weather stripping to outer edge joints
Install a rubber sealing strip on the bottom of the door
Install a cemented sill at the bottom door seal to act as a barrier
Check insulation and add as needed
Use a dehumidifier
Install at least one fan to increase air circulation
In some cases, it is not possible to immediately repair the source of a leak.
